These great people, both in the abstract and also direct sense of the word, build bridges between different cultures, they are ambassadors of their nations.
Estonia and Japan—states and peopl...es—have become acquainted thanks to sumo, thanks to Baruto, thanks to Kaido Höövelson. Kaido has introduced Japanese culture and its ancient traditions to Estonia. Baruto has introduced Estonia and our people to Japan. I am extremely happy that Estonia has such a powerful and respected ambassador in Japan, who today has won his first big tournement and stands just steps away from reached the absolute pinnacle of the sumo hierarchy.
